Blake's feature editing debut, the documentary A House is Not a Disco, premiered at SXSW 2024 and screened at various prestigious film festivals, including NewFest, Inside Out, Frameline, and Palm Springs International Film Festival. Most recently, he's cut the short films Neon Reef, A Homecoming, Bodega and Hit Girl.

 

Blake has also worked in feature films as Additional Editor on Haze, Assistant Editor on The Weezer MovieHold Your Breath and Greedy People, Additional Assistant Editor on Beau is Afraid, Apprentice Editor on Fire Island and The Beanie Bubble; and in episodic television as Assistant Editor on The Savant and Post Production Coordinator on Evil (Season 1) and Mr. Mayor (Season 1).

Blake is the proud Associate Producer of Stephen Winter’s Jason and Shirley, which premiered at BAMcinemaFest and had a theatrical run at MoMA in 2015.

Blake's narrative short Read Aloud had its world premiere at NewFest 2015, while his experimental short camchat screened at film festivals in the US, Canada, and Europe. His short documentary 20MALEGAYNYC  gained significant attention, featuring on Andrew Sullivan's The Daily Dish, The Advocate, and The Huffington Post, as well as international film festivals. A subsequent web series about young gay life, Male Gays, aired on LogoTV.com, followed by a UK spinoff titled 20MALEGAY. Blake’s short documentary for Logo TV about intergenerational dating among gay men has garnered  over 1.7 million views on YouTube.

Blake holds a degree from the Maurice Kanbar Institute of Film & Television at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts ('15).
